Analytical psychology is a deep interest of mine, it interconnects with investing, behavioural finance and other fields. In an industrialized world, people circumstantially rely on dominant archetypes at work, and are subjects to predictable, cyclical and natural desires and impulses on their free time (hence sustaining a strong consumer society), Typology, as a tool, should not be underestimated. I employ an intuitive discipline of Bayesian statistical inference to analyse individuals, using accumulative prior probabilities for all personalities of a chosen typology model (Big five, JTI, MBTI or belbin roles), and increasing the weight of each probability with increasing evidence. Upon enough personal or systematic observation a statistical model of an individual's psychological traits can be built, identifying the main dominant personalities, and yielding useful predictive modelling. This allows effective team building and finding the right people for the job, customers for a product, right marketing for a group and psychological forecasting.
I aim to further this interest in the future through mathematical formulation of psychological trends and implementation of forecasting into machine learning.
